I didn’t find somatic work, it found me.
Let’s rewind to THE moment. I broke down on a phone call with my partner and said:
“I feel nothing.”
That moment was a turning point not because I broke down,
but because it was the first time I was honest with myself.
Burnout wasn’t one big collapse.
It was a slow simmer.
Migraines. Digestive issues. Fatigue so deep it felt cellular.
But I kept pushing. People-pleasing. Shape-shifting.
And somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t living for me.
I was living to be liked. To be impressive. To be someone my parents could brag about at dinner parties.
But on the inside? I felt numb. Lost. Disconnected from everything that made me… me.
That was the start of the long way home.
I didn’t wake up one day fully healed. Heck, the first meditation I did made me feel drunk (cue: the sunday scaries). I woke up many days unsure, anxious, and craving a version of myself I hadn’t yet met.
But I keeeeeept going.

Because the truth is coming home to yourself isn’t a quick fix. But it is the most important journey you’ll ever take.
Now? I help other women find their way back, too.
Women who are done pushing, fixing, and performing.
Women who’ve tried the therapy, the books, the mindset shifts but still feel off.
Women who want to feel like themselves again in their bodies, not just in their heads.
This work is gentle. But real.
It’s rooted in nervous system awareness, somatic practices, and actually learning how to feel safe in your body again.
Life Beyond the Resume
(because connection > credentials)
The travel bug bit me at just six months old and have visited 17+ countries since.
I am trying (and failing) to keep succulents alive. Apparently I provide worse conditions than a desert.
I speak French (it's a little rusty), stop to pet every dog I see, and ask “what’s the plan?” at least three times per outing.
Nature is my home. You’ll find me hiking, paddle boarding, biking, or mooching cottage stays with friends whenever I can.
I love shopping local and can absolutely tell you the best place to buy X, Y or Z in town.
My only true non-negotiable? My daily writing practice. Done before I check my phone in the mornings.
If you’ve ever read one of my posts and thought “Kristine, what did you just say??”…
Here’s your mini glossary of the words I use most often and what they actually mean around here:
somatics
Body-first work that helps you feel, process, and integrate experiences through your nervous system, not just your mind.
embodiment
Not just knowing something but feeling it, living it, breathing it. Like, your values? Embodiment is walking them, not just talking them.
body-based tools
Tools like breathwork, movement, visualization, and somatic awareness that help you regulate emotions and reconnect with your body.
inner safety
That grounded feeling in your body that says: You’re safe now. You don’t have to hustle for love, validation, or worth.
wisdom
The inner voice that’s been there all along. Beneath the noise, beneath the shoulds. It’s not about learning more. It’s about listening.
The latest conversations…

TL;DR:
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to walk beside you as you remember what’s always been true.
That your body isn’t the problem.
That your pace is not too slow.
That softness can still be strong.
And that your presence (not your productivity) is your power.
