That was a me few years ago, spiraling through search tabs and self-help accounts, trying to explain why I felt so disconnected from my own life.

I wasn’t “failing.” I was just in survival mode. But at the time, I didn’t have that language.

I used to believe exhaustion was just a
side effect of ambition
.

That snapping at my partner or ghosting my friends meant I was overwhelmed not dysregulated. I was working out, getting shit done, showing up… but inside, I felt like I was disappearing.

Silence made me uncomfortable.
I filled every spare moment with noise…Netflix, to-do lists, doomscrolling.
I’d push until I crashed. Then beat myself up for not being “resilient enough.”
I didn’t realize it then, but I was stuck in functional freeze.

Looking back, it wasn’t that I didn’t care. I cared too much. About everything.
And I had no idea how to come back to myself in the middle of it all..

Now, as a somatic life coach, I support women who live in high gear…the caregivers, the achievers, the deeply feeling ones who’ve learned to numb.

The ones who’ve been told rest is earned.
The ones who are quick to help but slow to ask for it.

The first time I slowed down long enough to feel what was happening inside my body, I cried. Not because I was sad but because I realized I hadn’t been present in my body in years.

Through nervous system education, somatic coaching, and a whole lot of imperfect integration, I started learning what it meant to truly be with myself.
I started recognizing the cues of stress before I hit burnout.
I learned how to resource myself not just to cope, but to live.
And slowly, I rebuilt a relationship with my body that felt safe, clear, and alive.

  • The travel bug bit me at just six months old and have visited 17+ countries since.

  • I am trying (and failing) to keep succulents alive. Apparently I provide worse conditions than a desert.

  • I speak French (it's a little rusty), stop to pet every dog I see, and ask “what’s the plan?” at least three times per outing.

  • Nature is my home. You’ll find me hiking, paddle boarding, biking, or mooching cottage stays with friends whenever I can.

  • I love shopping local and can absolutely tell you the best place to buy X, Y or Z in town.

  • My only true non-negotiable? My daily writing practice. Done before I check my phone in the mornings.
