What is Somatic Coaching?

Somatic coaching is a bottom-up approach to healing. Instead of focusing only on thoughts or mindset (top-down), we begin with the felt experience in your body.

Your nervous system is the foundation of how you experience the world. When it’s overloaded or dysregulated, even simple things can feel impossible.

Through somatic practices (breath, movement, visualization, stillness) we help your body:

  • Feel safe enough to release stored stress

  • Build capacity to handle discomfort without shutting down

  • Access deeper insight, emotion, and healing that talk alone can’t always reach

Unlike traditional therapy, which often focuses on analysis and story, this work centers on what’s happening now in your body (your breath, your posture, your tension, your sensations).

It’s not a replacement for therapy. It’s a powerful compliment! Especially if you’ve hit a plateau with mindset work or talk therapy and are ready to feel change, not just think it.

Hi, I’m Kristine, the founder of Well Within Studio and your guide on this journey.

I created this 1:1 coaching experience because I know what it feels like to be stuck…repeating patterns, second-guessing every decision, and feeling disconnected from yourself.

For years, I searched for clarity and confidence outside myself, believing the next plan, routine, or achievement would bring me peace. But true transformation happened when I learned to slow down, listen to my body, and trust the wisdom already within me.

Now, I’m here to help you do the same. This isn’t about following a rigid program, it’s about uncovering what works for you. Together, we’ll create a personalized path toward self-trust, emotional regulation, and deep connection with your body so you can finally feel at home within yourself.

Each session includes:

  • A grounding check-in

  • A guided somatic practice (movement, breath, visualization, or stillness)

  • Space for reflection + integration

  • Aligned next steps that support your nervous system, not overwhelm it

Everything is personalized! No scripts, no formulas, just support that meets you where you are.

You’ll also have a private Notion dashboard that holds:

  • Session notes

  • Somatic prompts and rituals

  • Personalized practices and reflections

  • Grounding resources you can return to anytime

Think of it as your supportive space between sessions. A calm anchor you can access anytime life feels loud.

    You'll begin to feel a little more space. A little more breath. A little more choice.

  • Building trust with your body and your truth

    Now that there’s more space, we explore what’s inside.

    • Tune into your needs, desires, and boundaries

    • Get curious about patterns you’ve inherited or internalized

    • Reconnect with your voice, intuition, and emotional landscape

    • Use movement, visualization, and somatic prompts to explore what’s ready to be seen

    This is where softness and self-trust begin to grow.

  • Stepping into expression, confidence, and choice

    Here, we integrate what you’ve learned and start living it.

    • Practice setting boundaries from your body, not just your mind

    • Claim new ways of being, showing up, and speaking your truth

  • That’s totally okay! We always start gently. You’ll be guided through practices like body scans, breathwork, or using an emotion-sensation wheel to help you notice what’s happening in your body. Even if you’ve never felt “in your body” before, you’ll leave each session with a clearer understanding of where you’re at and what’s possible.

  • This work focuses on your body and nervous system not just your thoughts. It’s about shifting how you feel and how you move through life, not just how you think about it.

  • Yes. Both the Anchor and Immersion packages can be paid monthly, or in full. If you need a different arrangement to make this work for you, just reach out. I’m open to conversations!

  • Absolutely. If you begin in Anchor and realize you want more support, we can adjust your package. This is a co-creative space, you’re not locked in. We move at the pace of what serves you best.

  • No problem! We will reschedule your session for another date. I simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you can’t make your session.

  • While I don’t hold a formal trauma-informed certification, I center consent, pacing, and choice in everything I do. You will never be pushed or rushed. This is a space where your body’s signals are honoured, and your safety is the priority.
