Somatic life coaching helps you get out of your head and back into your body. Instead of just thinking about change, you actually feel it.
We blend nervous system education, mindset work, and body-based tools to help you move through stress, old patterns, and stuck emotions while building rock-solid trust in your body and your choices.
The word soma means “body.” Not just bones and muscle but the sensing, feeling, living body where your experiences live, even the ones you’ve been trying to “get over.”
Instead of staying in story (or spiraling in self-analysis), we focus on:

This work is informed by Somatic Experiencing®, a trauma-informed approach by Dr. Peter Levine. Translation: your nervous system is always trying to protect you, it just sometimes gets stuck in loops. With the right support, those loops finally loosen.

Each in-person session at UpYoga & Wellness in Paris, ON is 60 minutes and completely tailored to you. Here’s what you can expect:

Somatic Life Coach, Nervous System Educator, and Recovering ‘Good Girl”.
I didn’t get here because life was perfectly balanced and I thought, “wow, I should share my wisdom.”
Nope. I got here because I did the burnout Olympics a.k. migraines, fatigue, brain fog, the whole “body falling apart while I smile through it” routine.
Spoiler: there’s no gold medal for pushing yourself past your breaking point. Just an empty benefits account and exhaustion.
My first taste of somatic work cracked me wide open. For the first time, I felt what it was like to actually be in my body and I knew this was the work I was meant to share.
Now, I help women unlearn “good girl” conditioning, understand their nervous systems, and stop performing their way through life. I blend science with embodiment, real talk with compassion, and hold space that’s both grounding and a little spicy.

This first session is all about laying the groundwork for our work together. We’ll “map your nervous system” by exploring triggers, glimmers, and anchors and go over my signature (Regulate, Reconnect, Reclaim) framework. Think of this as your starting point for building self-trust, understanding your body’s cues, and creating a more easeful, aligned life.

For returning clients continuing the work. We’ll keep moving through my signature (Regulate, Reconnect, Reclaim) framework, combining somatic tools, nervous system education, and body-based practices to help you take aligned action, deepen self-trust, and honour the life your body knows you’re meant to lead.

That’s totally okay! We always start gently. You’ll be guided through practices like body scans, breathwork, or using an emotion-sensation wheel to help you notice what’s happening in your body. Even if you’ve never felt “in your body” before, you’ll leave each session with a clearer understanding of where you’re at and what’s possible.

This work focuses on your body and nervous system not just your thoughts. It’s about shifting how you feel and how you move through life, not just how you think about it.
It is a powerful compliment to traditional therapy!

No problem! We will reschedule your session for another date. I simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you can’t make your session.

While I don’t hold a formal trauma-informed certification, I center consent, pacing, and choice in everything I do. You will never be pushed or rushed. This is a space where your body’s signals are honoured, and your safety is the priority.
